Solution processed organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) have received considerable attention, owing to their attractive features of low-cost printable processes [1,2], superior intrinsic mechanical flexibility [3], and sustainable performance improvement [4]. These fascinating features of OTFTs make them perfect candidates for applications as sensors, radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, smart memories, point-of-care diagnostic systems, flexible display backplanes and wearable systems.

In this talk, we will present our latest results of high performance solution-processed OTFTs with our FlexOSTM semiconductor system. The devices present a state-of-the-art mobility of higher than 4.0 cm2/(V.s) at a short channel length of shorter than 7 μm, high on-off ratio of 107, good uniformity of standard derivation smaller than 5%, high yield, and good stability [5,6]. The presented OTFTs show great potential of being used in flexible electronics applications.

Linrun Feng obtained his bachelor degree on Optoelectronic Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in June of 2010. He was awarded the Ph.D. degree on Electronic Science and Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June of 2016. From July to August of 2012, he was visiting University of Surrey, UK. During May of 2014, he was visiting Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Japan. From March of 2015 to March of 2016, he was a joint Ph.D. student in University of Cambridge, UK. Since the graduation project in 2009, he started to focus on the area of organic thin-film transistor (OTFT). In the subject of OTFT, he had published more than 30 top international SCI journals, with more than 300 citations and h-index of 10. He had also authored/co-authored (including open-to-pubic and granted) more than 20 Chinese patents, 2 US patents. He was awarded lots of competitive scholarships and grants.

Since June of 2016, he worked as Vice President in the global leading OTFT technology company NeuDrive UK. With his hard-work and tremendous support from all the parties, Wuhan Xinqu Chuangrou Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (NeuDrive China) is founded in the end of 2017 and begins to run in early of 2018. Serving as CEO of NeuDrive China, he is devoting himself to create a new driven force for the global leading flexible display/flexible electronics with OTFT technology.
