Renault are a manufacturer team and have ambitions to become world champions again but have not made the progress they would have wanted and remain firmly in a midfield fight with McLaren and Racing Point.
“I have principles and ambitions in line with the team’s project. Their progress this winter gives credibility to the objectives for the 2022 season and I will share all my racing experience with everyone from the engineers to the mechanics and my teammates. The team wants and has the means to get back on the podium, as do I.”
Until recently, unless you worked in healthcare, you’d probably never heard of a pulse oximeter. But on Sunday, emergency physician Richard Levitan made a compelling case for owning one in a New York Times op-ed, writing that “all persons with cough, fatigue and fevers should also have pulse oximeter monitoring even if they have not had virus testing”. An article in Quartz, meanwhile, reported that most of us would be fine without one. We spoke to experts to get to the bottom of it all.
David Kennedy of suburban Barberton and Joseph Griffin Jr. of Akron, who were waiting for relatives to be released, said they wished there were more programs to help ex-inmates and more businesses willing to hire them.
Patricia Espinosa, the UN’s climate change executive secretary, said the UN was “exploring alternative hosting options” for the climate summit after being informed of the decision in a letter from Chile’s environment minister.
Alonso would be returning without a realistic shot at the title because car development has been frozen for next year as a cost-saving measure to help F1 weather the financial downturn caused by the coronavirus outbreak. Renault are targeting a major step forward when new regulations and a budget cap are implemented for 2022.
But those concessions appear not to have been enough. Daily street marches continue to call for Piñera’s resignation. Schools and offices are functioning sporadically. Lines at supermarkets have eased but little remains of the routine that just two weeks ago led Piñera to declare Chile an “oasis” in an increasingly volatile region.
Chile’s protests began in mid-October as a student-led fight against a 3.7% hike in metro fares. But those demonstrations quickly swelled into a much broader mutiny against inequality, the cost of living and police repression.
Of all the bonnie, bony possibilities on the butcher’s counter – the osso buco and the neck of lamb, the shanks and the trotters – it is oxtail that needs the slowest cooking. Once browned in hot fat, comprar teclado tfue you need to lead an oxtail along the slow road to tenderness in a slow oven, the bones wallowing in stock or wine, and with robust aromatics. Thyme, bay leaves, a head of garlic. Rosemary perhaps. It is not a dish that needs updating, but a curious cook can tweak the details. I gave mine a soft smoky note with a whole head of golden-skinned smoked garlic.
“It’s great news that two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso, will return to Formula One with Renault next year,” he said. “He is an incredible talent and we can’t wait to have him back on the grid in 2021.”
Lower the heat so the liquid bubbles slowly, cover with a lid and transfer to the oven for 2 hours. Lift the lid, check the oxtail’s progress. If the meat still clings tightly to the bones, cover and continue cooking for a further 30 minutes or until the meat is soft and can easily be pulled from the bone. Lift the garlic out and remove the soft cloves from their skins, crush them with a fork and return them to the sauce. Check the seasoning and correct with black pepper and, if necessary, more salt.
Alonso won both his world titles with Renault in 2005 and 2006 and, although the team have not made any comment, the BBC, Sky Italia, Spain’s Marca and Italy’s Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed the deal is done.
“It’s a great source of pride and with an immense emotion I’m returning to the team that gave me my chance at the start of my career and which now gives me the opportunity to return to the highest level.
“It is absolutely logical for no one to come. We’re in no shape to receive presidents at the moment. I support the decision,” said Marcia Ruiz, a 56-year-old protester who was outside La Moneda, Chile’s presidential palace, on Wednesday.
Additionally, the reading isn’t particularly useful on its own. “It can’t replace a visit or call with the doctor who can assess all of your symptoms and how they relate to any underlying medical conditions you have,” explains Stephen Parodi, infectious disease physician and associate executive director of the Northern California Permanente Medical Group.
Miguel Crispi, a sociologist and founder of the Chilean political party Democratic Revolution, said: “The cancellation of #COP25 is very bad news. It was a great opportunity to debate the climate crisis. This means the government is assuming that they can’t guarantee public order from now until December – and that is also worrying.”
